Football Recap: Brookwood Skates Past Scintilla Charter Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Brookwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Scintilla Charter Academy Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-0 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Warriors had established a 37-point advantage.

Pearce Hightower was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 55 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 57 yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (122.9).

Brookwood's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Scintilla Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
