Baseball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Preston, Amber-Pocasset was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Asher Indians by a score of 9-4. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Bennett Posey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Avery McComas, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Kale Jones was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
