Basketball Game Preview: Annapolis Panthers vs. Broadneck Bruins

The Annapolis Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Broadneck Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Annapolis sitting on four straight wins and Broadneck on three.

It was a proper cat-fight when Annapolis challenged Chesapeake on Friday. Annapolis put the hurt on Chesapeake with a sharp 58-38 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Broadneck over Northeast in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Broadneck blew Northeast out of the water with a 55-11 final score. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bruins had established a 42 point advantage.

Broadneck has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Annapolis, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Annapolis came up short against Broadneck in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 57-48. Can Annapolis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
