Kamiakin picks up 11th straight win at home

The Kamiakin Braves entered their tilt with the Hanford Falcons with 18 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 19. Kamiakin breezed by Hanford at home to the tune of 64-31 on Tuesday. Kamiakin has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Kamiakin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aubrie Herrin out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Herrin has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Emaunii Smith was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 rebounds and ten blocks.

Kamiakin pushed their record up to 20-1 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Hanford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Kamiakin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-24 victory vs. Pasco on the 8th. Hanford has also already played their next matchup, a 64-25 defeat against Gonzaga Prep on the 8th.
