La Villa waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Freer Buckaroos as they made off with a 9-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-0 back in March.

La Villa's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Freer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

La Villa will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Premont at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th. The Cowboys have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.6 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. Freer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
