Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Ingalls' Third in Last Four Outings

If South Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ingalls, they should've done a better job of containing Olivia Stein. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Ingalls Bulldogs made off with a 42-41 victory over the South Central Timberwolves thanks in part to Stein, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last four times she's played.

Ingalls is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for South Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Ingalls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-19 defeat against Meade on the 1st. South Central has also already played their next game, a 34-23 win against Ashland on the 31st.
