Softball Recap: McLeod Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but McLeod unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 18-5 to the Atlanta Rabbits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Saturday.

McLeod's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Atlanta, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

McLeod will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Detroit at 5:00 p.m. Detroit will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something McLeod surely won't give up without a fight. As for Atlanta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Linden-Kildare at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
