It's playoff time, and Eastlake had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Bakersfield Christian Eagles 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on five straight.
Addison Suriano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Rachel Del Busto was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Eastlake's win bumped their record up to 21-11-1. As for Bakersfield Christian, their loss ended a 27-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-10.
