Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central Takes a Loss

Hinsdale Central lost against Waubonsie Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kasey Quast paced Hinsdale Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Quast got some help from Caitlin Leddy and her 19 assists. Leddy also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Natalie Flores, each putting up two.

Hinsdale Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Waubonsie Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-14.

Hinsdale Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Timothy Christian on the 20th. As for Waubonsie Valley, they will welcome Naperville North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
