            Volleyball Recap: Waterloo Bulldogs vs. Mascoutah Indians        
        
		
        
        
            
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Waterloo can now relate to. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mascoutah Indians on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  2-0  defeat  on October 14th.
 While Waterloo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22,  25-16.
 Loss or not, Waterloo got some senior leadership from  Ellie Day and  Ellie Zweigart.  Day  had three  digs and two  aces, while  Zweigart  had ten  digs and one  assist.

The  defeat snapped Waterloo's winning streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 27-10 record. As for Mascoutah, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record  this season.
