Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Tabiona

Tabiona had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Valley Buffalos 56-35 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted against the Buffalos since December 11, 2015.

It was another big night for Gavin Rhoades, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Tabiona's points. Bryson Fabrizio was another key player, going 6-for-14 en route to 12 points.

The win (which was Tabiona's fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

Tabiona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 81-68 loss against Rich on the 28th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 60-55 victory against Piute on the 28th.
