Volleyball Recap: L.C. Bird Comes Up Short

L.C. Bird was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Midlothian Trojans, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Skyhawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

L.C. Bird's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Midlothian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. L.C. Bird will venture away from home to face off against Thomas Dale at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Midlothian, they will take on James River Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
