Softball Preview: Rockridge Rockets vs. Macomb Bombers
The Rockridge Rockets will square off against the Macomb Bombers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockridge is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.
Rockridge came out on top against Orion on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. The Rockets put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 13-2 victory. Considering the Rockets have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Taylor Dieterich made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Dieterich was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Rockridge let Emilee Black and Charley Perkins run wild. Black fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3, while Perkins went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Black a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn David, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
