Basketball Recap: Alexander Takes a Loss

Alexander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Shore Wildcats, falling 51-30. Alexander was probably out for revenge after losing 35-34 to them when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Shore, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Alexander will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tioga at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Tioga's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for North Shore, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
