Katahdin is a perfect 4-0 against Madawaska since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Cougars will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Owls at 1:00 p.m. Katahdin will be strutting in after a victory while Madawaska will be coming in after a defeat.

Katahdin's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Washburn 17-0. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Madawaska's offense. They lost 15-0 to Central Aroostook on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Madawaska's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Katahdin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Katahdin took their win against Madawaska when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
