Softball Recap: Antioch Sequoits vs. Wauconda Bulldogs
It was a good run, but Antioch unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wauconda Bulldogs by a score of 10-9. Antioch's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-4. As for Wauconda, they pushed their record up to 17-9 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
Antioch will head out on the road to square off against Round Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wauconda, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Jacobs at 4:45 p.m. Wauconda is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
