Basketball Recap: Compass Academy Takes a Loss

Compass Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Denver City Mustangs and fell 60-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Compass Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-8 on January 3rd.

Jaiden Dominey was Compass Academy's leading scorer, having posted six points. Madyson Wright held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Compass Academy's record is now 1-19. As for Denver City, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lamesa the next time they take the court. Denver City will host Lamesa at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Compass Academy will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on February 4th.
