Softball Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Comes Up Short

Whitehall-Yearling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerville South Wildcats.

Whitehall-Yearling saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubree Waites, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Elena Pablo was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Whitehall-Yearling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehall-Yearling will welcome Madison Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westerville South, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Centennial at 5:30 p.m.
