After soaring to 33 points the game before, Lompoc was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell 12-7 to the San Luis Obispo Tigers. The Braves' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Even if they lost, Lompoc's defense still kept up the pressure with seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Madison Caballero and Lynette Miguel, who racked up six sacks between them.

Lompoc's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for San Luis Obispo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lompoc will face off against rival Paso Robles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
