Volleyball Game Preview: Leominster Blue Devils vs. North Middlesex Regional Patriots

The Leominster Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the North Middlesex Regional Patriots at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Leominster didn't have quite enough to beat Shepherd Hill Regional and fell 3-2.

Leominster took Shepherd Hill Regional into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 12-25, 20-25, 25-14, 15-7.

Meanwhile, North Middlesex Regional entered their tilt with Greater Lawrence Tech on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Reggies.

North Middlesex Regional's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Leominster, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Leominster couldn't quite get it done against North Middlesex Regional in their previous matchup last Monday as they fell 3-1. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
