Softball Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Albany can now relate to. They lost 16-3 to the Caledonia Cavaliers on Thursday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

New Albany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zakathryn Cameron, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Caledonia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caledonia, they will face off against Choctaw Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
