Basketball Recap: Pen Argyl Green Knights vs. Wilson Area Warriors
The Pen Argyl Green Knights lost against the Wilson Area Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pen Argyl took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Pen Argyl has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their matchup on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Pen Argyl lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Holland. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holland has scored all season. Jack Mclaughlin was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Pen Argyl's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-15. As for Wilson Area, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Moravian Academy the next time they take the court. Pen Argyl will host the Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
