Simla came tearing into Saturday's contest with 20 straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Limon Badgers 65-51. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Badgers, too.

Simla's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Limon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Simla will take on Denver Christian in a tournament on Friday. As for Limon, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Peyton at 7:30 p.m.
