After flying high against Reagan on Tuesday, East Forsyth came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the West Forsyth Titans on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Laney Blevins paced East Forsyth's offense, picking up six kills. Blevins got some help from Maddie Fendley and her seven assists. Blevins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Anna Hege was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matches.

East Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for West Forsyth, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-5.

East Forsyth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Lake Norman on the 18th. As for West Forsyth, they will take on Myers Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
