7A District 14 recap Nov. 7, 2012

Northeast extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 14 this week by beating Monarch, 26-20. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.

Coconut Creek made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,368 from 9,808. The improvement was the result of 60-14 victory over the Cougars last week.

Boyd Anderson's Gregory Hankerson and Eddie Jackson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hankerson has thrown for 1781 yards this season, while Jackson, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 26 catches for 563 yards. Malik Bynum from Coral Glades leads the league in rushing with 280 yards.
