Softball Game Preview: Plainview Bears vs. Geneva Panthers

The Plainview Bears will square off against the Geneva Panthers on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Plainview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over West Limestone.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Geneva). Everything went their way against Dale County last Tuesday as they made off with an 18-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 38-11. As for Geneva, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Plainview came up short against Geneva in their previous matchup back in May of 2018, falling 12-9. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
