Soccer Game Preview: Lapel vs. Taylor

The Lapel Bulldogs will take on the Taylor Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lapel's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Taylor's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lapel is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Tipton get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Give Lapel's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Taylor hadn't beaten Eastern on the road since October 1, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Titans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Comets. That's two games straight that Taylor have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Taylor and bumps their season record up to 4-12. As for Lapel, their victory bumped their record up to 16-0.
