Volleyball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

Orange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sonora Raiders.

Orange's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Sonora, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Orange wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against California Academy of Math & Science on the 15th. As for Sonora, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Whitney on the 15th.
