Everything went their way against the Bucktail Bucks on Monday as Neumann Regional Academy made off with a 17-2 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Golden Knights with their most commanding win of the season.
Gino Birch and Andrew Walter made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Birch tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Walter tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Birch scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Walter scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.
