Hannibal is 8-2 against Marshall since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hannibal Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Marshall Owls at 8:00 p.m. Hannibal has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 14.

Last Tuesday, Hannibal came up short against Centralia and fell 49-40. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Panthers are ranked 242nd).

Meanwhile, Marshall suffered their biggest defeat since January 15th on Monday. They had to suffer through an 80-44 loss at the hands of Mexico.

Marshall dropped their record down to 9-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hannibal, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
