Cicero-North Syracuse has gone a perfect 4-0 against West Genesee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Northstars will head out to challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. West Genesee took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cicero-North Syracuse, who comes in off a win.

Cicero-North Syracuse took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Rome Free Academy 41-6. Given the Northstars' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Black Knights are ranked 257th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Genesee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Proctor. On the bright side, the 35- point performance marked the Wildcats' highest-scoring game to date.

Cicero-North Syracuse's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for West Genesee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Cicero-North Syracuse beat West Genesee 20-13 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Northstars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
