Baseball Recap: Ross Has No Trouble Against Carey

Ross's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Carey Blue Devils a 7-0 shutout. The matchup marked the Little Giants' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Karson Kayden made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Kayden was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Robert Rich Jr, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was JT Myers, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

The win got Ross back to even at 3-3. As for Carey, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
