Basketball Recap: Perryville Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dover, Perryville was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They escaped with a win against the Mayflower Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-65 back in December of 2024.

With the victory, Perryville broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11. As for Mayflower, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perryville has already played their next contest (against Two Rivers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mayflower will face off against Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dover will roll in looking for their 25th straight win, something Mayflower surely won't give up without a fight.
