Basketball Recap: Cloverdale Takes a Loss

Cloverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shakamak Lakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Clovers of the 62-43 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Cloverdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Shakamak, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Looking ahead, Cloverdale will square off against Greencastle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Greencastle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games. As for Shakamak, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lighthouse Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lighthouse Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.9 points per game this season.
