Jessieville has gone a perfect 3-0 against Paris recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Jessieville has given up an average of 35.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Jessieville took a blow against Glen Rose, falling 49-14.

Jessieville might have lost, but man, Tristan Reid was a machine: he picked up 117 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 61 yards on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Paris had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-14 W against the Mustangs.

Paris' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Jessieville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Jessieville was able to grind out a solid victory over Paris when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 30-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
