Soccer Recap: Master's Academy Comes Up Short

Master's Academy and Geneva squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Master's Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Geneva Knights by a score of 2-1. The Patriots have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Ellamae Crooks, who's now up to 11 this season.

Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Geneva, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Master's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Geneva, they will face off against Pine at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pine comes in on nine and Geneva on three.
