Basketball Recap: South Atlanta's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

South Atlanta was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Towers on Saturday. The South Atlanta Hornets blew past the Towers Titans 46-24. The win was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

South Atlanta's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for Towers, their loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

South Atlanta is taking a road trip to challenge Miller Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Towers and Coretta Scott King YWLA will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
