Softball Recap: Mendota Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mendota's offense. They lost 6-0 to the McLane Highlanders on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Aztecs still looking for their first win of the season.

Mendota's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for McLane, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mendota will square off against Justin Garza at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McLane, they will challenge Orosi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orosi is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
