Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian School Kings vs. St. Michael the Archangel Warriors

The Grace Christian School Kings will take on the St. Michael the Archangel Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Grace Christian School lost to Grace Academy on the road by a 66-50 margin. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Kings came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 117th in Virginia, while the Lions are ranked 283rd in North Carolina).

Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel came up short against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy back in December of 2024 and fell 76-64.

St. Michael the Archangel's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Grace Christian School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.

Grace Christian School was dealt a bruising 77-50 loss at the hands of St. Michael the Archangel in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
