Basketball Recap: Columbia Starts Season with Win Against Rocky Mountain + How To Watch

Columbia had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They secured a 66-61 W over the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 75-58 loss the last time these two teams met.

Columbia's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Easton Lott, who went 9-for-16 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. Those 22 points gave Lott a new career-high. Tavin Jones was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 21 points.

Coming up, Columbia is taking a road trip to square off against Ridgevue at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rocky Mountain, they will take on Borah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
