Volleyball Recap: Southside Has No Trouble Against Sulphur

Southside won the last time they faced Sulphur and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Sharks put the hurt on the Golden Tors with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

One reason for the win was Southside's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Sulphur still got an impressive performance from Maddox Badon, who had eight digs and three aces.

Southside's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Sulphur, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-26 record this season.

Southside will be playing at home against Carencro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sulphur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
