It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Washington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 72-67 W over the Harding Raiders. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won seven matches in a row.

Washington is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Harding, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3.

Washington and Harding should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Washington (ranked 57th) will meet Ashland (ranked 272nd) at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Washington is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Harding will challenge Boardman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 180 places (10 vs. 190).
