Baseball Recap: Oakwood Comes Up Short

Oakwood fell victim to Grapeland and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Grapeland Sandies, falling 15-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Sandies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Oakwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-2.

Looking ahead, Oakwood will be playing at home against North Zulch at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th. Oakwood has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Grapeland, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cayuga at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
