Soccer Recap: Champlin Park Beats Elk River for Their Third Straight Win

Champlin Park proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Elk River Elks. Given Champlin Park's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Elk River are ranked 106th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
