Frankfort put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-29 W against the Chester Yellowjackets.

Frankfort's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chester, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Frankfort and Chester will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Redbirds are set to take on their familiar foe Pinckneyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chester will square off against rival Sparta/Steeleville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
