Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwest). They breezed by the Sunset Bison to the tune of 80-39 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Southwest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Sunset, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Southwest will challenge Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 12:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Sunset, they will square off against South Oak Cliff at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. South Oak Cliff knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Sunset likes a good challenge.
