Tri-Valley proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 14) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Gretchen Wyant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Paige Fesler and Elle Fesler did most of the damage at the plate: Paige went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Elle went 4-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
