Football Game Preview: Bellevue Wolverines vs. Kelso Hilanders + How To Watch

The Bellevue Wolverines will challenge the Kelso Hilanders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bellevue is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Bellevue against Inglemoor as the team secured a 51-14 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

It was another big night for Max Jones, who rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. Another rusher making a difference was Sawyer Young, who rushed for 71 yards and one score on only five carries.

Bellevue's run defense was locked in: Inglemoor could only muster 1.5 yards per carry. The Wolverines didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.5.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Kelso ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Federal Way 13-10. Those 13 points were actually the fewest the Hilanders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bellevue's record is now 8-2. As for Kelso, their record now sits at 9-1.
