Basketball Recap: Parkwood Takes a Loss

Parkwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-50 to the Sun Valley Spartans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolf Pack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-56 back in November.

Jaylin Powell was a one-man wrecking crew for Sun Valley as he posted 15 points and eight rebounds. Thanasi Papazis was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven boards and five assists.

Parkwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Sun Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.

Parkwood will venture away from home to take on Cuthbertson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sun Valley, they will welcome Ballantyne Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
