Soccer Recap: Heath Comes Up Short

If Heath was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Lakewood last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 7-1 to the Zanesville Blue Devils on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Heath were already down 4-0.

Heath's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Zanesville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-2.

Looking ahead, Heath will square off against Sheridan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Zanesville, they will challenge Maysville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Zanesville are facing Maysville at the right time seeing as Maysville are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
